My new bird is from Yorkshire and she bloody squeaks when she walks talk about tight lol, But she did shell out £660 for a new roof and £1200 to have it painted but that was only half a car being a Mk1 golf Cab.

As for painting cars I've had two done well 3 because my new Pulsar is getting painted at the moment as well, My last Pulsar cost me £900 for an OK job not 100% perfect but it was hard to spot the imperfections so acceptable for the price, Then I had a bare metal job done on my 260Z which cost me £2500 and wasn't much better actually probably not as good as the £900 job done on my Pulsar, So do your research see examples of who ever does its previous work if possible.

I did panel beating and car repainting and college many years ago and it's all about the preparation that's where the skill is, Any idiot can paint a car to an OK standard. Even if it's a bit dodgy you can normally flat it and polish it up a treat, I didn't choose to do it as a full time job simply because I wasn't good enough at the prep so wouldn't of lasted long in any jobs lol..

It looks nicer now with the fresh paint new genuine full filler cap but I still haven't bought her new wheels yet or refurbed those.
