looks a good job fred i take it the steelies are for your mini?

 yep for the clubby estate, they are cooper S LP882 steel rims with a big positive ET...as i want it lowered i need these to keep the wheels inside the arches using the cooper S brake system... i'll update the thread soon on my minis!! i also get my black anodised rims for the van and many goodies for it too!!!

Enkeis are pure white and minis are old english white! Quite standard!

yep you're right nomad, it's close to ivory white. It looks better on old cars...

Richbrook alloy valves to be clean!

Will look good as 16" rims balance nice visually on the R & perform well for road use.
Shame they don't do required fitting as using adaptors is a PITA ...
looking forward to fitted pictures, not normally a wheel man but you got me hot with your french pulsar ...

Tomorrow evening, tyres will be on the wheels, i hope to put the wheels on the car by the end of the week. Tomorrow i might receive my overhauled front shocks and put them on too.

Spacers are black anodised. Tomorrow mid day job is too put back the studs, ill put some pictures once all ok!

Plans for the week are:
Oil drain
Undo the the sump to Re shape it
Struts on
Right hand drive train on
Full chassis set up

And if i have the time, fit the rear Nissan mudflaps!

And tyres mounted on rims!! i choose some Nankang NS2 205-45 / 16 to fit them. not the best tyre value but i used them on other cars and they are quite good for the price!

Nankang are a budget remould tyre arent they fred ? .... how much did they rush you for the pcd spacers ?

what size are the spacers? 20mm?

Nankang are not remould but budget performance, ok in dry but maybe not good in wet. Very basic & probably hard compound but expect work ok in hotter dry countries. Never used them myself & never seen them for sale in my region .

ive got a set on mine just now and they are terrible in the wet and dry they aint the greatest they aint the ns2's though, proxes are a much better tyre imo

always got on well with nankang ns2's, you can get spacers resonably cheap on ebay or look out for second hand ones i picked some up for 20 quid

yep, but these are not 20 quids !!!! these are PCD converters and spacers 20mm wide.
i paid 100 quids a set (10% off when you like them on facebook!!) + 4 pounds for each to be anodised here in France.

i'll change the tyres once these will be dead, but they cost half of toyo's!!! i already had 2 on the shelf so i got 2 other to match.

Fred, you are no good with pictures, get some up of the car man. Full shots, front, rear, inside. Haven't really seen any pictures of it all together.

Also instead of saying quids..lol just say £ or pound (s)..lol:lol:
