she's quite powerful, but seams to be less angry than my previous one, but as it is standard i'm quite happy!!

this evening she got the right to be washed out (i cleaned it inside yesterday evening!)
thursday morning, MOT!!!! cheers cheers cheers cheers

me too Concrete!!!! for sure it will go perfectly at the rear and fill the wheel arches, but it will be tight at the front i think, and maybe rolling the fender will be needed...let's see that soon...

i'm sure it will looks far better with other wheels!!

yesterday evening i went for a new little ride to discover a little more the girl Wink

i noticed some faulty thing :
- all the engine buffers are worn and dead
(i already bought some poly bushes from paul so i just need to paint the supports thing because gold it's not my cup of tea! But what about the front anti-torque (they are 2 actually front and rear) buffer, are they available polybushed or stiffer than standard?

- it smells fuel after a little ride at idle Sad
maybe the fuel pipes are worn too....don't know

- after a 10min idle, then cut, she is diffucult to start up...she seems to be fuel filled...

I doubt the readings will change much Fred, you were down by 45psi on no4 cylinder; could be a ringland failing. With the smell of fuel have you checked all your fuel lines?

I was between 7 and 8 bar so between 100 and 120 psi!!!! Smile
and the 3 others was 10 bar so 145 psi....

rather than putting 800 quids or more in a better health engine, i prefer dreaming of good readings!!! Razz Razz

i'll check that maybe next week!

As stated elsewhere (i think it is on the OC ?!?), compression readings can be many things...ring fault or valves faults....or cylinder fault!!

Yeah it could be a number of things Fred but whatever it is isn't gonna fix itself Wink  Just thinking better to fix a problem now before it could do more damage?

sure you're right moley, but if it is a ringland failing, i need to drop the engine out and dismantle it....as it is 247000 km, i bet it doesn't worth it and i'd go for a better one (forged one?? why not!!), cheaper than a rebuild.

Thanks! pretty long vid mate, here the link to explain quickly LINK!!, but this test can't be done by myself as i don't have any air mean and no device adapted.

i'll take the compression back next week to see if something moved, and than go to the leakdown thing if i can find a mechanic who can be do this...but is really not an easy test !

You can pick them up for around £70 not sure what that is in euros  but then atleast you have the tool instead of paying somebody to do it  for the same sort of money .
