in 10 days, big trip to bring my new sunny back home!!!!

White one, light model, no aircon, no electric windows, no rust (yes i know, unbeliveable!!), so i presume it is a RB...

Shouldn't that be T-10; as in t minus? Where abouts are you getting it from?

sorry matey, moded! i find it in France, 5 hours from me (so 10 hours with a garage truck to get it). it needs to be trailered but i think it worth it. it is a LHD one so. It needs to be fixed but if it can't be fixed, i'll change the engine.

What's wrong with it? Good luck anyway

Yep, for sure! 1st fault code check done - 12 so the maf have some troubles...
and it doesn't starts up at the moment.

specs, almost standard ( even the airfilter!!!!)

what i want exactly, is all standard unless fully moded chassis, strut braces, and 1 bar loop, full cat back with silent decat (already in the garage!). that's all. (unless the engine is dead...i'll maybe go for a forged one  )

But first thing is to get it back home!

yes sounds like a nice car fred
if its a genuine rb check the diff as it should be a lsd front diff as well as having a short ratio rb box same as im running until my quaife is fully rebuilt (hopefully next week)

just edited my post as it should have read 'front' diff but if your lucky it may have lsd centre too as well as the plated rear diff in which case the car would be an absolute bargain

bob, is there any mean (without open all the boxes and so on) to make sure it has this stuff on?

here some pics, some paintworks needed for sure, and some tlc to tiddy it up...new wheels (i'm still hesitate between 17" comp mos, or 16" oz racing rally, or 16" TH2, buddy club which looks like advan racing wheels!)

the full carpet is dead, so i will need a new one for sure
as it is 250 000 kms, for sure the driver door hinges will be to replace
i don't know if the spare wheel is missing or if there is no spare wheel on this model...

The spare wheel looks like its missing to me   nice looking r though fred well done mate .

Not already done mate, but sure it can beat them all, within the ten

You need a standard steering wheel

Are you keeping it lhd or converting it to rhd?

yes the rb box you will know immediately as the gears are much higher ratio over ra gearset
rear plated diff you can easily tell as both rear wheels will spin in same direction and will be difficult to turn against each other
the car also tends to be very snatchy on lock, some to the point where wheel will virtually lock up when on full lock in reverse

very slight mods...pretty standard but with tasty things and 1 bar loop and chassis mods, lowered...

Some news about the sunny, it didn't start up, and the 12 code remains. Maf is in fault or connectors. I'm not sûre about only the maf problem make it impossible to start up... What do you think about this problem?

12 is maf fault fred ......however i would also start from the basics like fuel. Spark . Etc test the coil pack ...... did it just stop working or any info as to why it isnt running ?

Does anybody know if the standard European LHD RB's came out with 260(kph) speedos and had a clock in the tacho housing.

Yes nomad, MAF is in cause, i will check all even the compression when it will be home. i'm just aware of this fault code. i think the stop is consecutive to the rattles mentionnened previously....

splmum, here a picture of mine :

they look like uk sunny clocks with kph
never had an rb model that's had them fitted before

so it's maybe not a RB model!!
