Yesterday I noticed the front wheel lh side was dead, so I need to remove all the hub to change it.
I already popped off the steering knuckle, the caliper is now attached to the strut spring.
I put the wheel back on to undo the driveshaft wheel nut, but I need now to buy a 32mm longer tool to pop it off as it is the only one missing in my tool box...I think a 1meter bar will be sufficient to undo it!

Today I hope to get all my orders to finish in the evening or tomorrow.

lol!!
i'm 82 kg, but sometimes on my minis for exemple and 34mm tool, impossible to pop it off even a 1m bar to help...

i received the bits from Paul today :
- polysbushes engine mounts
- ARC BOV (do you know how to plug it??)
- uprated clutch fork
- toe eye cover (i bought the paint this morning to spray it and put a little coat on the front bumper as the paint flakes a bit)

and i'm annoyed with Nissan they didn't received the oil seal today...Mad
i will continue to undo all the bits and change the wheel bearing it needs to be changed.

I'm 90Kg but prefer a 3/4 impact gun as don't like being rad faced & dizzy.
Have done it the bar way before & had the handle off one of our trolley jacks to extend the breaker bar to about 1.6M & do it with the car on the ground (wheel on) as a lot easier, also prefer to have someone keeping socket in position to save rounding nut corners off if slips & have a rag over knuckle of bar just in case it shatters ... impact gun is a lone mans best friend ...

girlfriend !!! no no no Mr Fred.
You can only have one love & that should be your new virgin white GTiR.
A girlfriend will only waste valuable time & money that should be spent on your true love ;-)
warehouse sounds great, houses are a little boring ... have fun ...

Ah ah Mr. B, your thought make sense to me, but there is enough place in my heart for her and for my cars!!

Back on the sun'. driveshaft nut came as expected with no problems with 1m bar!! and the wheel down the road.
the calipers is stitch to the strut and diveshaft is in the air!
no play on the lower balljoint, and all seems in good condition.

tomorrow, i will try to pull off the driveflange off the bearing with a press, what do you think about that??
and then pull off the cage, or destroy the bearing to access to the cage...press or weld, that's the question...thought?

About the driveshaft, i have this in front of me :
French Rally Sunny GTiR - Page 5 Sans_t10
may i need to unscrew the bolts near the oil seal, or may i need to remove all the complete shaft (driveshaft + sideshaft)?? Sad

using this method ? (as stated by nomad and Mr B)
