why did he not just cut the old arch out and weld a complete new one in gaz?
surely that would have been easier and better in the longrun

Havent got a clue realy? The arch on the side hes completed was pretty solid it was just at the back that was gone, but I do see where your coming from about putting a whole ne piece in.
The other side looks like he will be putting the full arch in tho by the look of the picture :/

Lol, I need to try & find a cusco blue colour & paint it again, so it will match the centre caps on the wheels

Halfords do a blue enamel paint in a spray gaz Wink when you stripped the door did you take the glass out then strip electrics handle etc or just wind the window down then strip it ?

Lamba bung for wideband welded in Smile Fitting new shocks this week sometime at the bodyshop as they've said its ok after its been prepped before it go's in the booth for paint. That will be 1 more job out of the way... It WILL be ready for nurburgring Cool

No I got some1 to tig weld it in, & fitting some nismo shocks I bought of Bob Wink So ill see what there like at nurburg

Oh right i thought it looked like a tig weld . Im getting a tig welder soon hopefully want to make a new tubby elbow .....what springs you having with the shocks ...... just being nosey ....lol

gaz......is that bung gonna be in the right place as it looks like its at the top, you don't want it fowling on the underside as they stick out a fair bit you know

No once the exhaust is bolted back on the car, the lamba will sit at 2 oclock position. I marked it all up before I took exhaust off & theres plenty of room

Yeah course bob will see how good my one comes out first lol ...ive only had a go on a tig once but the bloke was a pro so it was all set up proper but im sure il be ok jack of all trades me lmao .

Gaz when you talk to your spray mate could you get a qauntity on paint for me ..... i spoke to the paint place said it was golf size and he said i would want 5 ltrs of  primer  3 ltrs of colour coat and 5 ltrs of a/b thinners i will probably get more colour than i need prob get 5-6  litres as i want it mixed all at the same time so its same colour rather than not have enough and get some more it may slightly be out ....
