As said on phone the other day Dan........it's not hard to do just check measurements with regard to height as seen one that was done poorly with one rear arch lower than the other so simple but costly mistake once painted.
As Leighton said......it's not hard!
I'm no fantastic welder by a long shot but I can and have done it before to a standard of any good bodyshop.
cut and butt / tack weld the panels together or you'll get heat distortion and warpage, then just overfill and rub down and it's the rubbing down and contouring that's the hard bit and most important bit in order to get a good finish when painted, if your not confident with doing that part then sub that bit out to someone who can do it as end job will look naff if that's not done correctly
If we were not so damned busy and you can wait a bit I would have done the job for you, or you could have done it at our place yourself and I would have guided you along the way fella!
