Nürburgring 2015

Hi guys,
As I heard that some of you guys are planning to visit the Nürburgring this year, I spoke to some of our local Gti-R guys and they're very interested in a meet up with you guys too! Well, if there're any plans please let me know, cause then I can inform the others If all would go well we would be around 10-15 Gti-R owners just from germany, plus some JDM guys that surely would come too.
Guess it would be awesome, to see all this Rs in the natural environment of the legendary Nordschleife

I'm very up for a trip to the ring this year, it's something I have to do!

Unfortunately not as big, as yours in the UK. Maybe some guys from the netherlands or belgium are interested in this too. But it's so hard to bring all the R owners together... for silvias and Skylines the're are yearly meets at the ring... but we are lucky if we get 5 together Well let's see how this goes

I'm sure some one on here was in about organising a trip to the ring this year, nomad do you know who it was? What sort of date are looking at st3inholz?

I remember seeing it in a thread maybe it was johnny or gaz who mentioned it ...

I think it may have been gaz actually yes, surely there would be people up for this?

Don't know mate. Guess spring or summer time would be awesome, also at the weekend. But I would orientate me on your date

Il have a word and get something organised for the summer ideally on a weekend when the gp curcuit is open as that's better than the ring so will probably be a 4-5 day trip

Sounds good! I'm looking forward to this! Well gp is awesome too. Don't know the prices yet, but should be the same costs as for 1lap NS, for 15min gp course.

Could we look at possibly doing this beggining of July if its convenient with every body? Got stuff planned beggining of August, and would not want to miss this!

This is something ive always wanted to do so ill keep me eye on this and if the dates work out id be very interested in a visit

yes will be looking end june beginning july so plenty of time for everyone to prepare and save

yes gp circuit is awesome and totally crazy with bikes and mad germans on track all at same time, did the gp circuit on 4 separate occasions this year and what a buzz

and yes price per 15 minute session is same price as 1 lap on the nordscleife

Perfect, best get saving. A guy who I work with has been to the ring a lot by the sounds of it and says it's quicker and cheaper to use the euro star, especially if you cross late at night...just an idea?

yes probably better to use the train, I did last time I went there in October

its about 20 dearer than the ferry but quick as you like and your there before you know it plus you end up spending 20 on the ferry anyway with drinks and grub lol

so will be better to get a ferry crossing
we should be able to beat last years prices too even with Eurotunnel included, as we all knew what was happening there with regard to you know who

Well, just had made a post in the Facebook gti-r group, maybe that reachs a bigger group of Gti-R owners Would be awesome if we get as much Rs together as possible

I'm booked on, ferry's done and paid for and a few of us going in various cars from brand new AMG's and M3's to my old Datsun! We're ging overnight ferry from hull to Rotterdam on the 1st May and coming back on the 3rd! If anyone wants to join or meet up, they're more than welcome!

theres a lot going on at the mo so im unable to organise it at present but il be in touch with gaz and ask him to get something sorted with hotels, prices ect
it will be a goer 100% later this year so have a fair bit of time to get this sorted.
