If i read your first post correctly this wasnt a progressive fault but occured suddenly?
It Could it be worth checking some of your earths especially around the maf? Maybe its getting enough air but the maf signal is playing tricks. Easy to check with a multimeter.

Probably someone smarter going to tell me in a min that I'm wrong lol but if you'd loose earth or 5v it would run lumpy and lean on tick over too...
