hi, when i fitted my new clutch i noticed it was juddering alot and first gear change the clutch would make a scuffing sound (dont know if this is what slipping is) now the clutch has bedded in quite a bit, 600miles and the problem still remains even though the juddering has stopped

Full boost in 1st gear, shift to 2nd, when my foot is releasing the clutch it scrapes a bit, doesnt sound healthy Sad

i bled the fluid out and fitted a braided clutch line and it has reduced the problem slightly but its still there, anyone got any ideas what it could be, its fine in every other gear at full boost.

Its an exedy organic clutch which i would think could handle a near standard pulsar's power

Thanks in advance

its impossible to say, could be anything but you wont know till you remove the box.

i would just leave it and drive it, if it breaks or something goes wrong then rip the box off again.
not much help there but if it drives alright just leave it

Yeah as bob says,

Did you replace the presure plate for a new one or just the friction plate?
And thrust bearing? New one?

My car makes the same sort of noise as described but only when you take up drive in 1st. I just put it down to the fact that its a heavy duty cover (Helix) with a six puk drive plate and an alloy fly wheel. Ive learn t to live with it Wink
