Block with liners looks great! bottom end bearings well worn so replacing too...pistons looking pretty shiny :O)

Block and pistons all arrived in good nick from the machine shop today...they were the latest pics...should be ready next Saturday. Tho due to work commitments I'm picking it up on 29/30th Dec :O)

its more than just money in the end....heart and souls gone into this! This is me making my mark :O)

Well i think you have done really well with your approach to the build ... its not always about money ...

took the view...Look at what's been done before, what's worked, what hasn't why etc...
Listened to as many people as possible....respected everyone's view might be slightly different...did our own thing using gut feel and my personality....tried to be different and respect the fact that not everyone will agree with everything we have done as it is a bit OTT maybe but hopefully see we have put everything into it

And we all love pulsars - that's why we are all here!

Ooohh shiny new parts. If you dont mind me asking, how much was the stroker kit?

Stroker Kit direct from HKS was £3500 inc. vat basicly (Thats Crank, Rods and Pistons)
Liners were seperate...and everything else it soon starts to add up!

I would also say we have been lucky in the fact we have a sponsor helping with the build meaning we are not having to foot the whole build cost! Thats about all I can say at the moment about and a few details are still tbc...!! A massive team effect to pull this all together in the end.

it should be easy to get on the front cover of banzai id say especially as youve loads of photos of the build probably depends what other cars they feature that month

Yes...TDI know Banzai and Jap Mag pretty well having built a number of cars in them )
So we have the inside track as such....

Add a few last pieces the shopping list:-
we are fitting HKS exhaust cams and a new 6 puck Helix clutch as it would be rude not too!

last thing we are going the weld the clutch folk while we are at it....can anyone put up a picture or diagram of where we need to do the welding plate? (is all honestly I don't know where they tend to fail)

What cams have you gone for?

Cams...Its going to be a surprise for me! even I don't know...all I know is they are HKS cams....same as the helix clutch 6 puck is all I know.

We tried to get new inlet cams too (I think I'm making sense) but they were dis-continued from HKS...but they found the exhaust ones hidden away so we nabbed them quickly...

I've left the pros to make the call!!

The last choice I see coming is what turbo...

Helix clutch is a 7-10 wait for delivery so that could be our only delay now :O)

Thats a bit of a bummer still once its in ....your only have the gearbox to worry about
