very good machining & ideally experience fitting them is needed. most people under estimate standard liners .

Im not fitting them luckly )
Engine build by Torque Development...left it to the pros.

Out of intrest what kind of power gains from stock to a stock stroker kit ???

Be torque off boost one advantage ?

It all honesty I'm not 100% sure my self...tho off boost torque is certainly one...plus on boost torque...Torque goes through the roof in general. It certainly means I can keep running my 2071R turbo and have minimal lag while the engine its self can kick out some good figures without crazy boost...! The syvec management system should mean we are able to make use of the engine changes...but at the end of the day I'm as interested as everyone else...TDI are also interested as you don't really get Pulsars + Syvec + stroke engine very often )

I'm just a crazy enthusiast at the end of the day...I just go with my gut feel and will continue too have fun as always....I guess that's what its all about at the end of the day.

I would of kept standard liners, they only bore to 86.5 or 87 for 2.2 stroker.
I done a 2.1 on standard liners bored to 88, kept power very low 400 & it still going fine.
Done the 88 bore to salvage a block avoiding relining cost, wouldn't go silly on boost but it does make a nice cheap punchy 400 engine
You can get 2.2 on standard crank if sleeve & bore it big, main issue is HG seal on that though.

We went: HKS 2.2L kit inc. Pistons, Crankshaft, Rods, HKS power liners and HKS head gasket...

Block and Head skimmed today with liners...Could be ready for Saturday...I'm think 2 weeks for completion...watch this space.
