Dead line for deposits have gone sadly but if you are wanting to join then I might be able to sort the same hotels out but the price might be a little more as I had a deal with the hotels and ferry company.

MONEY?? Whats the best way to go about money/euro's over there? Is it best to change your money into euro's over here & risk carrying it around with you OR will my bank card work over in germany so i can draw euro's out over there?

What do you all usualy do?

just walk in the petrol stations after filling up and say that guy over there (pointing to bob) is paying for your fuel. That way you dnt have to worry about money

Or check with your bank and should be fine using it abroad iv had a card blocked before as they thought it was fraud lol

Yeh ill check with my bank about using my card abraud, just wonderd if anyone takes money over with them in general as there may not be cash points in hotels etc

thing is im at milbrook with the gtr on july 13th for my advanced track driving tuition day so I might be all full of new things like trail braking etc which il need to practice

Looks like it will be my first drive in the R this year as its still at bodyshop waiting on arches to be put in & painted! Then got to build the thing back up.

Then got a few things to do to it when I get it back, so dousnt leave me much time to do a few miles in it & make sure everything is ok :/ so fingers crossed on the way there lol

best you both take out some kind of breakdown cover just incase, I will as you don't wanna be ending up with car stranded there

yep guna get rac European breakdown cover as my mates brother Inlaw is one of there mechanics and done it a bit cheaper last time

Just solved a coolant leak plus found a oil leak and solved that so think all should be ok for a nice run to get the tracking done tomorrow morn then need to swap my brakes and finish off some niggly bits and I'm nearly good to go!

I had my speed limiter taken off threw Nistune, depends if you have nistune tho?

& I heard RAC do European breakdown cover for £50? unsure how true this is?

Il txt him in a bit gaz and if its a good deal il pass your number on to him

And I just have a standard Ecu still lol have got another one that came off anothe R but not sure what that's mapped for !

Rac breakdown cover is about £80....well worth it, just phone them up.

Yep I will do for that price, tried getting an online quote the other day but it wouldn't reckognise my reg with it being a northern Ireland plate :/

sorry mate just seen this. Il ring Dave in a decade he's working tonight but info canrember right if you have use of a modern car the cover can be used onthe individual instead of the vehicle but as its a new vehicle it made it cheaper? Lol

But il check and see what he says!
