Thanks for the comments lads Smile

Not sure about track at the moment Nigel, but I'll work it out at some point.

Yeah not a chance with those tyres Shroom, it would be scrub city! seriously considering bolt ons and keeping the wide tyres.

I wouldn't need huge flares with the current set-up, so looking at 25mm or 30mm at the very most, the smaller sizes dont seem as common though. Its hard know how they will fit using these universal ones, they are fookin alot more expensive than I thought aswell. Looking at these ones...

5 studs & those rims worked out well ...
Does look hard as nails .
A little more ride height & modding arch shield may help scrub issues
Do you actually need flares for legal reasons in oz or will current coverage pass ?
Some custom cut mud flaps could be useful.
I expect thinner custom flares maybe harder fit, would of been good if someone had reproduced standard arch trims & couple more 15 & 25mm extra flared & with more circumference .
Where did partypete get his flares from.

Thanks alot Stu Smile

To be legal I would need to mod the factory arches so the wheels don't scrub B. I believe technically I don't need flares because the wheels aren't protruding past the guards, but scrubbing is the issue. There is also a rule about only increasing track by a certain amount but it isn't really enforced on the road. That's my understanding anyway.

Alternately a narrower tyre size would get me a lot closer to solving the problem. I dont want too much stretch going on though to keep it legal.

Reckon you could give them a rough measure johnny? I wouldn't have thought that smaller flares would be harder to fit?

So ended up going stretch and put 195's on the GTR wheels, should have gone a little wider but who cares, no scrub and will get me by for the moment.

Redid the dump pipe and got it tig'd up. Brought some cusco strut braces pretty cheap so painting them up. Brought a new alternator and fitted a aeroflow radiator overflow tank.

Within the next 2 week ill load a base map and start the car on the new ECU, ill post a video of what happens Laughing

The only things I want to do before a tune is fit the power steering, get a high pressure line made up and wire up the alternator now its in the standard position.

So fooked around for ages trying to get my car started this arvo. Im not expert when it comes to Haltech ECU's but it doesn't appear to be wiring issues. Thinking I might just get the tow truck to drop it off and the tuner can sort it out.

I spent 3 days on mine try to find a wiring back feed issue. Dam ECU would not turn off. I'd get a rough quote as he might charge u a arm and a leg to fix.

Have a chat to Chris aka force fed as he might be able to remote tune it so at least u can check leaks .

Thanks Nigel, I might hit him up, Ill love to sort it out before I take it to the tuner.

Its strange, it cranks over for a second then stops, similar to when the battery doesn't have enough charge but Ive put the multimeter on the battery and its all good. I thought the haltech might be stopping it.

Who are you using for tuning, Chris?

Well sorted out the cranking issue, brought a new battery and all good. The fuel pump fittings were leaking badly so fixed them up this afternoon. Now to troubleshoot using the ECU software and figure out why it wont start.
