I would realy like to see that as I'm in two minds about attempting my own build or saving to get it built elsewhere. A full write up could come in verry handy for me and may help give me the confidence to attempt mine lol

That's a great idea and defo worth doing. Pictures and vids show so much more and the manuals just arn't that great for novices. Go for it i would love to see the finished thread.

This is a great site I've always found helpful people on here who like to share they knowledge with other but I've always said we could do with more how to's with a lot more detail like pictures and vids rather than just write up's, even write ups are great but pictures speake a thousands words
I no it takes a lot of effort and time to do these how to's and I really appreciate and respect the people who take the time to do them
And I will really look forward to seeing this one if it all goes through

I'm gonna be starting the build just after Christmas .. I'm gonna try to make it as understanding as possible and if you don't quite understand. Just let me know
an idea of the build it will be fully forged ie Cp piston and eagle rods, acl bearing etc etc  Ill will show how to measure and how to hone the bores etc                               Head work ill be using Brian crower exhaust valve i will show how to reseat them back into the head as well fitting  hks cams with uprated valve springs with porting and polishing and gas flowing ....  So use can will see what kind of build it gonna be ... If anyone has got anything they would like me to cover please let me know .

yep mine and lennys builds should be pretty similar
both cars will be running well in excess of 500bhp and we will both be building the engines up at the same time (early new year) so il add bits to his build (assuming he does not mind) as il be using stock rods and other things wont be exactly the same as mines just basically a refresh on engine ive had for last 2 years.

but between the two builds you should all get a good picture of what you need and what you don't.
obviously the power side of things is separate to the engine build as that's dictated by ancilliary items fitted.
