Oh right any builds i have done ive never lined them up just staggered them intially  as thats how i found them ..but read as they can move its not that dead important exact postioning of them .....im no expert engine builder lol

Lol it's hard stuff seeing in the dark when your doing it on the street Sad with no street lights either:( joys of staying in the middle of no where lol I couldn't be arsed getting the extension cables out to plug in lights either was the good old touch on the iPhone Sad

yep there fine just make sure your head is flat as theres little leaway for warpage with an mls gasket, if in doubt get a light skim

if its running no big power then put a stock hg on it, its a little more forgiving with any warpage as it will compress .2mm when torqued up

Just thinking money wise also spend minimum on it get it back on the road have a bit fun then rebuild it in a year or two sound good to you?

Ill be running about 0.9 to 1bar off boost will the standard h/g handle that ok?

no problem put a stock hg on it that will be fine.
if reusing the stock headbolts on the last torque setting give them an extra 5 degree turn


oh and btw I was correct with the bigend tightening torques I said in earlier post as just checked for you

Aww cheers mate I'm Working till 5 home for half 5 the other two pistons out then see what I need then will sort out an order with you I need a knock sensor mines is all cracked Sad

do not use the cometic hg

I bought some of those victor reinz hg and fitted 3 so far and I personally think they are better quality than the stock Nissan ones so would deffo recommend using them.
you will need to open up the dowel holes slightly though with a dremmel as they are a bit too small like the cosworth hg

just use 15w/40 mineral based oil that will be fine
