North v South dyno shootout competition APRIL 19th 2014

the north south team thing is no longer a goer really lads as the numbers aren't even
at the mo north have 8 and south have 14 cars

what we could do if everyones up for it is select 8 chosen cars from the south team and they can run with the 8 north members and see who has the highest bhp from the two teams.

the losing team will have to pay a tenner per car to cancer research charity which clare will be collecting plus she will be going round with a bucket if anyone wants to chip in then the club will write a payment out for the total collected and donate to cancer research if everyones ok with that! as its affected a few people on here lately in one way or other so just seems like the right thing to do

well as im a northener i dont mind swapping sides .
and if my mate takes his s4 that will mean 10 north and 13 south ,, getting closer

tbh rob I would like to keep it as just a gtir day as every car that's going is a gtir, otherwise I could have bought my gtr lol

If everyone on the list turns up it will be a big day..
Any idea whats been the biggest gtir rolling road day in the past?

Or will this be the biggest turn out

I'm up for chucking a tenner in if we loose (which we won't ) I'm currently seeing what it does to some one/a family, Very good cause!

Lost my dad to cancer at the start of the year so I'm happy to donate to a good cause...

Was untill he had my car nearly 6 weeks when he said 2 weekends. He has family n things come up at home which i can understand as it happens to me all the time. My wide arch car will be there looking clean and tidy for sure just not goin on as will still be standard and hopefully swaping parts weekend after and booking mapping
 Will be there to catch up with everyone and support a good day and a charity which is the main thing

yeah that's right johnny just a chance to meet up with a few of the newbies and hand out a bit f advice and so forth, plus support a worthwhile cause.

im taking clares car and that's only around 300hp but think most cars will be around that mark with the exception of a few.

Yea just sick mate as it should be around 380 got nearly 2k worth of turbo maf injectors ecu all sitting waiting to fit. But just happy it will be there looking shiny and on the road

yeah could be over 25 cars there with people oming to spectate too.

the gtr oc is organising a rr day through svm and they have only got around 20 cars going to theres (which is still a lot) so im prod that our old cars and members are beating the big boys in numbers attending.

I will be attending as well but just as a spectator Bob, a long drive down but will be worth it to meet other members and donate to a charity close to my heart.

It is after all the 20th anniversary of nissan stopping production of the GTIR this year

I was trying to organise a little convoy from the midlands, so far we have me and Darren who live near Mansfield and there's partypete from Derbyshire and concrete-GTIR from Lincolnshire all talking about driving down together but we haven't actually arranged anything yet but your more than welcome to meet up with us and join the convoy, the more the merrier

I just looked were Evesham is located and I think you might be a bit far out to join our convoy

I will be leaving at about 7am so can always pop into services along the m6 from j10 and along the m1 upto j14 where we need to get off the motorway?
