North v South dyno shootout competition APRIL 19th 2014

sounds good im easy with that, just makes more of a sight a convoy of rice tins

I'll be travelling from Southampton or Portsmouth then up the A34 if any really southern members want a convoy

We should have a little competition on the day .
Everyone who's running a car on the rollers should right down what figure they think they will get ..
Anyone who gets it right after the cars have all been on the rollers wins a prize .

Maybe every runner pays £1 to guess and then total amount is split between the winners

And if nobody gets it right it goes to charity

l be sorting out a convoy from Essex nearer the time then we will stop out south mims on the m25 if anyone else wants to join in

If more than one person gets it right the money is divided equally

You could run the same car 3 times in a row and get a different result on each run... They do vary so much, especially if done on different days/different rolling road

yes results will always vary so if you have a printout chances are it will never be the same due to different temps, atmospheric conditions and obviously variations between rollers.

and its only £2 so just a bit of fun

should be a very busy day, hopefully the weather will be good.
il get clare to draw up a list on a bit of paper so we can have a competition to see who can guess the bhp of their car to within one bhp, if all those that want to take part chip in £2 then whoever guesses correctly winner takes all, if no one gets it then the money goes in the charity bucket for cancer research.
clare will also be going round with a pot so all donations kindly accepted   
the club will use the discount also which would have only been £4 per car to add to the pot so will kick it off with a hundred pound donation if everyones ok with that!

Sounds good to me. I'm defo coming now in my R but not going on the RR as I'm booked in at street racers a week on Friday to have the fueling checked so can't see the point in RR twice but I'll bring a good donation

North convoy could then meet up with midlands convoy

Sounds a plan to me, I know me and bones will be driving down together and I'm sure partyPete will tagging along too, anyone else is welcome to join us, the more the better

Hmmm.. I haven't thought about that yet, I know me and Darren will just set off together because we live 2 mins from each over but I'm not sure were to arrange to meet up? I suppose it depends who we get to join in our convoy to determin a good meeting point, I'm easy I'll meet up anywhere   

We will be going down the m1 to junction 14 so can meet at any point on there really. Any services near you? Think we will leave here about 7:30 from junction 28 so I'll let you do the math...
