Ok so seen as this is some of the hottest wether we've had in a while how are your R's responding to it?

What's your running temps both water and oil

Mine oil is around 70

Water stood in traffic ranges from 95 to just over 100 when the fans kick in

Once moving anywhere from 70 to 90

This is with standard radiator aswell

My needle on temp gauge seems to stay pretty much in the same place when the weather is hot or cold. Oil temp on steady run 85-90 and goes up to 100 odd when roads are busy or I'm opening the old girl up.

Ok is no one running aftermarket temp gauge? The reason I ask is my standard temp gauge shows around half way when my aftermarket one is reading 100 I'd of thought it the standard one was accurate it would be further up than half way at 100?

That's good then nothing more worrying normaly than seeing your temp at 100 most other cars start to over heat at that temp don't they lol?

I don't think the fans kick in until 95degrees and allowing for inaccurate clocks that's nothing unusual.
if you see the gauge sweeping round to 3/4 mark then theres obviously a problem

Think you'll find that the coolant won't boil till around 110 degrees as water has a higher boiling point under pressure

My power fc hand controller shows temp ..
Usually sits between 85 ~88 round town... if it gets into the 90's i have a fan override switch and i turn on fans.
don't like the idea of it getting near the 100's.. On a motorway sits at a steady 78 degrees at 70 mph

Occasionally gets a blast on the mainland...  When we moved down here during the drive down the temp hardly moved once cruising ....
