Oil between engine/box

Hello all
Rebuilt engine after the usual spun bearings drama. I replaced both front and rear seals as well but now have oil seeping from the small cut out between engine and box, also from sump inspection plate. Just took upper sump off again tonight and the back of the flywheel is completely dry. Would this suggest I just need to re-seal the upper sump along the rear face better or does this sound like the new seal is the issue?

seal or the seal retainer plate is possible issue .
If you got no clues from oil trace you either got dig deeper in looking at it or gamble on resealing sump .
what ever route go just be diligent with sealer, use good quality and apply neatly on nice clean no dinged up surfaces .
