So we just got back from having a week in the northeast .
Had a really good break .

Came to a halt on Wednesday when a woman in a little red car decided she wanted to be in the lane we were in .

We were in swmbos brand new Ford kuga St it only had 850 miles on clock .

The red car will be a write off . Both doors caved in the sill pushed in rear arch scuffed and scratches on back bumper .

The kuga looked like it took the impact well only visable damage is dented wing and scuffs on wheel and wheel arche . However it drives like a pig .
Accelerate hard and it goes right.
Decelerate and it goes left.

Guesing bent shock

Mrs Rob is absolutely gutted

Will be some chassis leg movement too, normally always is to some extent .
I would never buy a new car or particularly new used car unless business/legal reasons forced it, simply too much cost for what you get back and modern cars are junk .
Always better spending on best example older quality models and then when things happen it not much of a financial hit or annoyance compared to a new car .
Road accidents are more common here, see one at least daily and normally get a mirror clip or bumper nudge at least weekly lol .
Main thing family unscathed but it a ballache a wallet hit and heartbreaking see a car that new crash damaged :-(

Sorry to hear, did you guys take out gap insurance against the New Kuga.
Doubt they will write it off, but just in case.

Feeling the pain, someone pinched my new van on Wednesday (4 weeks old) and then torched it... found it the following day down a quiet road. Must be a curse with new vehicles

It was so new that it had nothing in it except a pair of sunglasses and a hammer.
So basically was all for nothing!
