That day was a bummer as we were geared up to get Robs car in around 10ish then give it a thorough checkover prior to it going on the dyno and start playing around with the map etc.
There are nearly always some issues that need attending to prior to any car going on rollers and sometimes you can kiss goodbye to over half the day sorting out small niggly issues.
So in both our interests i advised Rob to head on back to the Island as he may not have made it here till late in the afternoon 'due to a bike accident it seems' which is why the roads were choca.
Already advised Rob to drop the oil as it must reek of fuel as was almost in the 9s at idle with his Afr's. Also told him to try dis-connecting his lambda (narrowband) to see if that leaned it off a tad but not been in touch with him since so not sure whether that worked or not.
Aftermarket fpr was something else we may have needed to fit but you dont know until youve done an initial run to assess afr and we keep them in stock anyway
End of the day i would rather have the car in without having to rush things, it takes longer than you may think to map a car properly so if you rush through things thats when mistakes are likely to be made.
So will get him back in the new year at some point so its all ready for a spring thrashing
