Advice needed.
While driving I could feel the foot pedal had dropped slightly. The travel was more.
When I parked up and then started the car again and drove off. When I pressed the brake pedal it was on the floor.
Pumped it and it came back up.
Got home and parked the car.
Went back out to it 30 minutes later and the pedal is at the top again and seams to be working as normal.
Would this be the master cylinder or brake servo?

If really drop long way with hardly any pedal pressure then master cylinder probably, I've had one hit floor then recover after few pumps and it was down to age and fudged piston seals plus worked hard .
Worth doing basic mot style tests for servo booster and also check fluid and leaks .
the Blueprint ADN15127 is about £80 on ebay inc p&p , it straight fit and way go if got doubts as they all too old now want be messing with used plus this one has slightly bigger fluid displacement which useful if using 2 or 4 pots.
As it a big safety factor including keeping your R straight I don't mess about much on 25 year old brake system parts .

Thanks B.
I replaced the servo not so long ago. I do have another good spare one.
I have a good master cylinder so im going to swap it over.
Just ordered a brake spanner so I can undo the brake pipes on the cylinder.

Hopefully they arrive quick so I can get the job done.
The open end spanners are shit for the job.

Blueprint master cylinder price has dropped to £64.64
Worth grabbing one for on shelf stock at that price as bloody cheap .
