I purchased this car 4 years back. I just could not help myself at the time even though i had no were to store it, and did not have a clue what i was going to do with it. After getting it tidy enough to race and tuned i entered into a couple hill climb events in it. The motor however decided it did not like this and blew. So it was put into storage for 4 years while i bought a house, and had 2 children. Here are some photos below of when i first got it.

Specs:

Jun race cams
Jun double valve springs
Jun titanum retainers
Jun 2mm over sized stainless valves
Jun bronze Valve liners
Jun Port and Polished head

Bottom end:

Jun 87mm forged pistons and rings
Jun Forged rods

Greedy TD06 - 25G turbo
Trust 46mm Wastegate
Jun 3inch exhaust
Jun Customer Stainless Manafold
Custom Intercooler pipes
Alloy catch tank
Alloy intake pipe
K&N filter

660cc injectors
Power enterprise fuel pump

Motec M4 Pro ECU

Nismo Under car front and back skid plates
Nismo under car mud flaps
Nismo foot rests
Nismo Roll cage
Nismo front rear and centre LSD diffs
Nismo Steering Wheel
Nismo front and rear strut braces
Nismo short shifter kit
Nismo Gearbox Mounts
Nismo Engine Mounts

Cusco under car front swaybar and brace
Cusco uprated under car rear swaybar

Ohlins Rally spec suspension (super rare)

Os giken twin plate clutch

OZ lightweight magnessium wheels

All RB Specs from the gti-r
(lighter glass, Wind up windows, RB short rato gearbox)

Dyno'd on low boost 13psi at 380hp at the wheels

Highboost being 20psi with no dyno figure i imagine this will be around the 450hp mark though.

This Gti-r also went through the Autech factory at the start of its life, at which point it was purchased and made its way across to the Jun factory in Japan, It was then purchased by a New Zealander were it was intended to compete in the Race to the Sky event. It never made it. It was sold to the person i have purchased it from he had it sitting in storage for a number of years.

The owner that i purchased it off didnt really have alot of info on the car so i am still finding things everytime that i look at it that are Nismo or aftermarket parts.

Here is a picture for you all will put some more up when i get the chance to take some good photos:

So 4 years have passed and while my focus had being on other things if stuff popped up for sale i wanted for it i purchased it. So i now have a little collection of goodies to put on it through its restoration which is about to begin.

Being transported home from someone who kept it in dry storage for me.

I will try to photo everything as i restore the car. It will be having a full strip down, re-paint, new bolts ect ect. I also need to find or have made nismo mud flaps as they pretty broken on this car if anyone has a set?

I remember you posting this on mc when you first got it.
I was in ore then as I am now.
Love this car and its heritage.
Would love to see some pictures of under body. And loads more of the inside.
Looking forward to seeing your updates and progress.

Wowee. If only my car had all of the parts it had prior to me buying it (I wouldn't be surprised if some of yours are from mine/previous owner).

Not sure if you have tried fitting that tail shaft but it's not a bolt in item. The flanges are bigger than stock so the diff and transfer flanges need to be redrilled. Also uses bigger bolts, I used R32 bolts.

Thanks guys,

Starting the strip down next week so will get photo's as i go. Going to be a labour intensive rebuild but i honestly cannot wait to crack into it, being 4 years waiting to get myself into a finical situation to be able to take on such a large task.
