Gtir build thread with a differences!

Strange how sometimes you come across things by accident.

a lot of work has gone into it by the looks of things. Any one else seen this build before?

Haha did he? must have done his head in with the amount of work on there! It's not long been let out on a forum by the looks of things! And guess he never sold the old green shell completely then. Didn't think they finished there race car tho at 600 odd horses?

The shell is Andy's old car off modifiers. It had the kudos bumper with wheels that had a red pin stripe.
The green panels were just the fibreglass ones they kept.
The engine is supposedly a £25k build from Poland or somewhere. I forget. And the running gear was supposed to be off the same person.
It's supposed to be capable of over 1000bhp do I was told and the turbo is as big as someone's head!

yea it said the box is from Lithuania I think. 
Do you think they will finish this project

if it does a good time is it a pulsars time? Or a evos time? Lol


Is the lad about still with Audi running gear?

That's an animal, fair play for the amount of work & money gone in to it

Minty had the Audi one last I heard. He ran it up the pod last year.

This Evo Gtir has been being built for about 4 years now?! Who knows if it will ever be finished lol
It's no longer a Gtir or Evo! It's a hybrid!

crazy amount of money must have gone into that, the mind boggles
imo its all an advertising ploy to get more work in but fair play to them as the build quality looks fantastic with no corners cut unlike the dd time attack car lol
 
when I weighed up the gtr/pulsar conversion I just could not warrant the costs involved to get it built as you would never ever recoup that amount of money spent on the project
the 9k I paid for the engine and box would have been a pinprick to the overall cost to build and finish so you have to question the sanity of such builds unless your well and truly minted and money/time is no object to you.

Sev the guy who has done all the fabricating on this has done many projects where he's welded cossy floors into different cars.
He did a cosworth mk1 festa and he did a twin engined mk1 festa
His work is second to none!!!

Sev's work is great, but I'm getting bored of seeing this car pop up every year with no running done  It seems to appear and disappear. What happened to the one in the container Stu, with the Ferrari engine and subframe in the back of the Pulsar?
