Hi all
I could hear the starter still turning/dragging with the fly wheel 4-5 seconds after the car is started but now is not even turning/making any sound or effort to start the car,I've checked the battery is 12.8v before start and 13.7v when engine is on,the car starts easily when bump started which makes me think that could be the starter goosed
I haven't had the car long 2 weeks so I can't say for how long is been like that, is there a easy way to check if it's the starter and what is the best way to take it off?Cheers

I would say solenoid bad on starter .
Do check wiring on starter as trigger wire is known come off in some instances but with pre full failure issue you had I would say mechanical wear in solenoid throw mechanism.
You can try tapping solenoid on starter with solid wood pole or hammer shaft or similar and see if gets it working. New or recon starter likely

Pray and keep fingers crossed that the y bracket isn't still on the engine lol you'll have fun taking the starter off if it's still connected

When I turn the key to start the car I can't hear the starter clicking?, I think the y bracket is out tom,but think the inner bolt will be a pain though

Sounds like the starter to me. As B said, give it a good whacking and see if that gets it working.

^ yep, sticky/worn solenoid & throw mechanism, any decent local elec shop should be able sort that out on your unit or offer exchange, If hunt around you may find solenoid parts cheap enough do repair yourself but do inspect/look at starter prior to deciding on this .
