right a pic f my first pulsar, was a bodge, and was pretty mangled, payed pennies for it, so wasnt too fussed when i scrapped it after breaking/keeping all the good bits for myself


i scrapped the shell and got a new one from bob, while the engine was out i painted a few bits, replaced some sensors, new clutch0 etc


how the engine bay is now looking,in the new shell. Its gone back to near on standard, just clean, hopefully ill be able to give a good update this weekend

Excuse this shot of the dash, i tried to get a picture of the dash wtih the gauge on in the dark. I built the gauge pod into the dash, then got it flocked so it would look OEM


Car is basically finished, just waiting on getting the pressure relief valve sorted as its stuck as the engine has been sat for about a year, thought i had done everything to stop anything like this happening.
Gutted!

List of things left to do are
Get wheels-probs 16' team dynamics
Nice black lug nuts
omp steering wheel
finish painting down both sides/bootlid, fit all my brand new badges
finish colour coding all plastics
brake kit fitting under 16', and new pads n disks for the rear
engine is complete, has had all brand new sensors, clutch etc from nissan, all new gaskets, new studs, new downpipe (2 1.2 inch), all braided brake, clutch, turbo hoses
not long now!

its hard luck with the pressure relief valve but its just one of those things that can happen if its left for a period of time.

think theres a vacuum pipe missing to carbon canister though unless my eyes decieve me

Bob you old devil you are right. I am not sure where to plumb it into? Its meant to go into the vacuum canister behind the block? I was thinking of just T-ing it into another vacuum pipe.
Also where does the vacuum hose off the pipe from air filter to turbo go? Just got a bolt in on mine

yes the vacuum pipe to canister should come from vacuum chamber behind inlet manifold.
you can tee it in but dont use the one to fpr that goes also to boost sensor on passenger inner wing

the pipe from induction pipe (vacuum) goes to one side of the stock boost controller the other side goes to tee piece which goes to turbo actuator and back to main port on intake manifold

Bonnet everything except doors as they are full of filler, so they will strip them and metal finish them at some point , all trims are now painted aswell
Spent this weekend bleeding are refreshing my coolant for winter. Hopefully pics next
weekend when the car is picture worthy not long now!

Haha, yeah I set up the perfect mounting point (out of mud) for the camera, picked it up to press play, tried to put it back, but then it wouldn't hold itself up so had to make another mount while it was recording lol! I made the video because the car finally runs 100%!

Exhaust is a mildly ported stock manifold n elbow, eBay downpipe (the ones you see brand new for 99p bidding all the time) 2 1/2 inch, decat, and a 2 1/2 inch scorpion cat back! Gotta live fresh paint nomad

Well update has been long overdue but because of a significant change in circumstances i literally havent touched the car in six months!
Well this weekend was a good one . . . stripped the front end off and fitted my new front wings, as well as fitting all the painted trims. put the sideskirts etc back on and also gave the car a full machine polish




As you can see, i currently have one of my new wheels on as i wanted to see what it looked like, need to get new tyres and refurb them before they go on.
Just MOT,TAX and insure it now! Oh and sort the gear linkage and rattle off the arb from the exhaust
Went to start it today but at some point over the last few months the fuse to my trickle charger had blown. So my battery was completely flat, gutted!

Yeah tom got the shell but had a major rethink and going ahead with a respray on mine with a colour change of course .
