How much fluid should I put in the transferbox and rear diff?
I have done a quick search but nothing came up.

Thanks.
I have done that with the transferbox. Took around 1 and half litres. But just wanted to make sure it was enough.
Will do the same with rear diff.

I bought 6 litres for the gearbox and transferbox.
I have 4.5 litres left which I think is about right for the gearbox?

I thought I added info and it was a sticky maybe not as waited for rep point offer lol

As said rear diff 1L
Transfer 1.5L
Gearbox 4.2
So as you rightly say for to allow small spilage 7L
Coolant from fully drained 6.5 -6.7 L
Oil is just under 4L so I would say 3.7-3.8 inc filling new filter this dose not inc aftermarket oil cooler with my mocal cooler n hoses I use fair bit more

I'm doing the oil change at the same time. Have already bought that and the filter..
I will do the coolant another time. Its been about 2 years since it was changed. Still looks fresh tho. I need to look through reciepts to see what was put in tho as its that waterless stuff I think.

splmum wrote:4.2 litres for the gearbox Stu.
Thanks
I have enough to fill it tomorrow if it isn't raining lol
Just need to buy another 1 litre bottle for the rear diff now Smile

In fact I think it's this stuff.
http://beta.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Nissan_Pulsar_2.0_1991/p/car-accessories/engine-oils-and-car-fluids/car-tranmission-oils/manual-transmission-fluids/?522776061&0&cc5_868

I remember doing a little research on site and they said that 80w was good to use in place of 75w with these new type fluids.
I also asked advice off someone and they confirmed it was just as good. And for the price I was happy Smile

Cheers Stu, will get some ordered. I tend to add stuff to the basket on europarts site leave it a few days then they email with discount if you still need it Laughing think it's normally 5% handy if you have no other discount code rabbit
