Over priced / bargain or just bonkers!

I know classic fords get silly money, but really!

I heard an RS500 went for 130k

I guess it a bit exceptional in condition so more understandable ... hate fords besides real old stuff .

I couldnt imagine buying a car new and not really using it, there again take a ford outside and tin worm takes over

amazing they rusted so well even when coated in engine & gearbox oil lol ...

What a price tag!

Always had a soft spot for the performance Fords.
The series one RS turbo was one of them.
Had a rip up with a few back in the early 2000's when I had my first Gtir.
You don't see them on the roads anymore.
Either being restored or just taken to shows.
The value of them now is mad, nearly everyone for sale now I see for over £6k.
My work mate has one which has been off road for 6 years, he also has a Lancia Delta Intergrade (or what ever you call them

The cars I had a soft spot for and still do if I see them again.

Ford Escort/ Fiesta RSI turbo
Fiat UNO turbo
Renault 5 GT turbo

Had some lovely blasts back in he days with guys who wound these up close to 200bhp with a bleed valve...lol

60k flippin flip, thats the price of 6 mint pulsars or 60 thousand saabs ;-)
