1.5mm I've had head skimmed so i though 1.5 would be safe option

When ive done it before i used a drill layed the gasket flat on a piece of wood and done it that way ...

So it didn't spin out etc? I'm tad scared myself doing it cos I've got visions of drill catching it and spinning bending...

Its fine mate just trap it and drill it right through into the wood that way it will be a clean hole ...
