I've just bought an air chamber for the evo ..
Should arrive in October .

Similar to a carcoon but has an inner framework so doesn't need inflating to work ..

It has twin fans at the back that blows air into it 24/7

Keeps a constant breeze around the car

^ glad it wasn't just me thinking that, but does stop dust and crap from settling on it. Does it dehumidify as well?

If its unfiltered fans than i wouldnt say it would stop dust being blown in i guess it would really limit it down .......

Yeah looks cool but as Nomad says would be interesting to see how it works. I know how dusty computer cases get with fans blowing in so it would surely need a filter?

Fans = dust moisture is probably included as air blown by the fans is cooler than the air temp its coming form by a few degrees... Surely it should be sucking air out gently...

Anyway I hijacked this coz a cocoon for my car sounded good but this wasn't what I was expecting my storage isn't high enough lol

They have filters or my uncles dose they take damp out the air around the car by moving airflow and it stabiles it

The fans both have washable filters so keeps the car lovely and clean .. I've also put a dehumidifier  in the chamber ..

App constant airflow reduces damp or summit like that
It also means I can leave windows open and no chance of any mice getting into the car ...

Its like a grain store ensuring the grain is kept from going mouldy air is circulated through it to keep it lole that. Handy having the filters too!

Got a battery conditioner for it today ..

If it was being stored long term would it be advisable to put it on axle stands?

I was told it would be better for a car long term to be put on axle stands ... no flat spots on tyres less stress on suspension maybe .. and i guess more airflow passing underneath ...

Not sure if she will get taxed this year .. Might end up putting the money into getting the pulsar done ..
So in reality the evo might be off road for another 15 months

Having the car on axle stands is better for the tyres, they don't square off from being sat in the same position for so long, Not so sure if its the same with newer modern tyres but that was the purpose when tyres were a lot les durable than they are now.
