Strange one here, the car shown has been in this spot for a few years now not moved. Then they put the no drive bollards up. A year later same spot car stuck still has not moved (abandoned?) What rights do the owners have or the council to either leave it there or block it in?How can it now be removed? Lol

Technicly the council own the path/land in front of the house not unless owners have purchased it prior wich i doubt otherwise they wouldnt of shoved bollards up .... if there is a dropped curb already then i do believe owner has rights same as if the driveway has been done for years ..... i would imagine so as all driveways have to be done in permable blocks now ...

Hahaha
Yeah looks like that isn't going anywhere soon.
If that was going on outside my house I would of stopped it or atleast got the car off before they went up.

There was a story on the news a few years ago where people rent out their driveways for parking while the owner goes on holiday, someone parked on the wrong drive, locked up and pi##ed off on holiday for two weeks, the police could do nothing about it and they had to wait for the owners to return.
Not sure what I would do if the council stuck up some bollards though, ive got a nice angle grinder !

I expect they haven't paid for a dropped curb. The neighbour has a post as well, can they get their car out?

This is pretty simple really and I know someone who had exactly same thing happen

From the looks of it I am assuming that the low wall is their own wall.
Knock a few foot out of that and the car will easily fit through the gap.

If anything was said they can say they used the neighbours driveway to drop car otr without damaging the posts.

Now if you really want to piss the council off you can build a small wall outside bordering pavement on your property and put the gate entrance directly in front of the post then as you walk out of your gate in the night you trip over the post injuring yourself and then take the council to court for damages and loss of earnings whilst your back (which you have severely injured) hopefully recovers Laughing
