Hello people
When I'm changing down a gear just as I let the clutch up I'm getting like a knock/crunch noise mostly into 3rd and 2nd. It's not all the time but it seems to be happening more and more. I fitted a new exedy fast road clutch about 3months ago and it was fine up to about 3weeks ago. Not sure if it could be gearbox or transfer box. Kinda hoping it's neither lol.
Any input would be awesome. Kinda hoping it's an easy fix but I'm sure it's not going to be because nothing on the R is lol

Cheers Ricky

Will check but I don't think it is. Sounds like n/s front, gunna get it on a ramp Monday to check the drive shaft and prop. Kinda want it to be one of them!

you would think if it was the prop or shafts it would do it on all shifts. Dont mean to be the bearer of bad news but i would start saving for a different or recon on your box

Yeah that makes sense to be fair!! I have a spare box, has a crunch in 5th at high revs though, also got a spare transfer box so it's just the headache of changing them lol, only built the car 2months ago, can you change the box without dropping the engine in the R?
Cheers guys
