I used a thin bit of wire to clear the holes then run carb cleaner through it and blew it out with an airline

right bit of a U turn here, due to lack of time ive put this project on hold Sad

decided to bolt a tubby back on her so I can at least use the thing in the summer as too much stuff going on
so ebgine was coupled up to a rb box today and all ancilliaries fitted back (wished I had not sold my freeflow elbow now)
ive fitted a gt2860 tubby on her with 700cc injectors and some other bits n bobs too so it wont be huge bhp but should be quick spooling for a few trackdays I have in mind.

il post up some pics soon as itll be nice when finished

soon as next winter arrives il do the charger conversion then as the rest will all be together so less work to be done that way

2860 rs brilliant little turbo stated will do 350 but mine did not last long at 320 and i bought it new but brilliant spool up and with rb box should be good out of corners

yeah as johnny said

its not gonna be the fastest pulsar out there (guessing around 340-350 but with the charge cooler now fitted and the rb box it should be bloody quick upto the 120mph mark

after that speed is really irrelevant on your average track
its only on the big fast tracks like Silverstone, Bedford etc that it will be lacking
should be nearly finished this week and ready to roll
il get some more pics then

With the 2860 do you have to get it mapped in from a standard t28 just out of intrest ?

well the map previously from my old car I still have so just put the ecu back in the car

it was previously mapped by ed with 660cc injectors
free flowing elbow
z32 afm
and 2871r tubby

but now its fitted with larger 700cc injectors
smaller tubby being the 2860
z32 afm
and charge cooler
like an idiot I flogged my freeflow elbow Rolling Eyes thinking il no longer need it with the supercharger, so ive had to put a stock elbow back

so in answer to question il monitor the afr's via the wideband with all the new stuff fitted and if im not happy then il get the map tweaked for the new stuff fitted

don't wanna be blowing my refreshed engine up What a Face

Yes if you want the benefit and to run it at its potential.

yeah I would have thought so

ive also ditched the ally flywheel in favour of a heavier one which should make the car produce a higher torque
although previously the car produced 379lbft torque with 358bhp

will need a remap as said as running on the rich side but other than a few little teething troubles and a damn good clean up she will soon be ready to hit the track

not yet it doesn't lol

the charge coolers great though, took it on a damned good thrashing and left ticking over for a while and intake to plenum is very cold
rb box working fine too (touches wood lol)
much better than a normal fmic

cant understand why no one bought that when I had it for sale
