off the road now

Well as of tonight the Pulsar will be off the road untill next year


Tax has ran out and that is the cue for the big winter build  

She had a good blast out on sunday with Richpulsar  we had a  great day on some great roads   ( some not so great )


I have quite a few parts to fit while she's off the road

Compettion paddle clutch

Lots of pipe lagging
Fidanza Flywheel insert
Welded clutch fork
Nissan water pump
Nissan Thermostat
Alloy radiator ( Once i pay Bob )
Powerflex engine mounts ( Once i pay Bob )
Pitworks filters


Parts i need to get
Willwood caliper rebuild kit
New Springs ( 30mm lower ish )
New rear axle  ( diff is getting noisey )
Carbon fibre bonnet
Carbon fibre bootlid

Is your old turbo knackered or are you just wanting some more power?

Going for more power.
Think the actuator is going as it won't hold 1.4 bar anymore

You going for the 0.64 housing on the 2871? Thought you already had a l/w flywheel?

I have a Fidanza flywheel but when you fit a new clutch its advisable to fit a new friction plate

Decided to do the same thing Rob - owned mine 10 years - always tax'd and ticket but for the first time ever I now own a garage so decide to SORN it yesterday and will spend the winter tinkering !
no where near what you are planning but will remove a lot of simple things and clean / replace perished bits and see whats what from there !
Means i need a cheap ass motor now to get me to the shops and back !

Wow I'm glad my car already has carbon fibre bonnet boot and spoiler lol saved myself a lot off money

Still a lot of money for just a bonnet lol, but they do look good, you also getting bonnet clips aswell??

As well as headlights , grill , wipers , scuttle ,

Then radiator , intercooler , airbox , Suspension , brakes , brake lines , wishbones ,
it's getiing fully stripped on the front ,
The the engine etc

Refresh and the bits you mentioned mate ?

Yeah got 6 months so gonna take my time
clean inspect and replace
