Thanks guys Smile I'm using an electric powersteering pump mike so the factory reservoir gets removed. Yeah moved some of fuse boxes out of the engine bay, the drivers side one is the only one left atm now.

Yeah it's a pump off an MR2, still need to really test it out, did that so I could run the alternator where the power steering pump was.

I moved the fuse box near the airbox to behind the reo bar and all the abs rubbish to under the dash. Then run all the wiring through the guards, cleaned it up pretty well.

Picked up a haltech 1000 ecu from a friend at an amazing price I couldn't turn down. It used to be wired in an ae86 with an SR. Included wiring loom, speed sensor, oil pressure sensor, boost solenoid, 1000cc injectors, coil packs and heaps of extras. Unless I change my mind this will more than likely be my new ecu when my car goes for a full tune Smile

Quite a serious ecu that :-)
Should do the job nicely & a cheap buy is always a bonus ...

Of course if I was buying a brand new one I'd go the 2000 but this was too good to pass up. All the wiring is done so I just have fiddle with the loom to make everything fit the R. All this cost a little more than what I would pay an auto electrian to wire from scratch.

I had abit of a light bulb moment this morning that i hadn't thought of. With my new ecu Im pretty sure I'll be able to control my electric power steering pump, so I'll be able to turn on/off the pump based on road speed for instance. Might be a better option and give me some more flexibility over the way the pump would operate normally in an mr2.

Yeh that should be possible as has a lot of output controls that ecu.
Are you using the original motor controller & steering movement sensor & then use output from haltech to just activate motor controller when vehicle running.
