Yeah it is exciting getting bits together ready..
I have had my rear arch and sill for 2 years now lol
One day I will get it all sorted haha

Not a lot to update really, recently fitted roof lining in, because I'm a lazy bastard I decided to fit without removing the roll cage, don't do that its a pain in the arse



Scored a mazworx oil filter relocation mount off ebay cheap so that will eventually find its way on.



A guy in Oz made up some replica passenger footrests so got one of those, looks great



Made up a heat shield for the alternator as the exhaust is so damn close, dunno if it will do anything but made it anyway lol



Also fitted the bash plate, didn't end up needing modification, just had a change the bottom intercooler mounts, so thanks a lot for that andy

New years update.

Brought a lot of stuff to respray the rear quarter, spray gun, water trap and reg, paint and various bits and pieces. Should be interesting, just want a good enough job for awhile before I replace the arches that mreguest was nice enough to sort me out with.

Going to prep the front bar, side skirts and front guards, not sure if ill spray them myself or take them to the shop. Other than that going to give the whole car a good buff and should come up good.

Main priorities though for the new year is to get the car on the dyno, wheel alignment and drive the fooker around. Got a bit carried away and brought a whole lot of bolts and nuts for the rear end and also picked up some rear window trims from Nissan.

Not looked at your thread for a while now but must say that cars come a long way since i last checked it out.

Nice!  What are the window trims? External?  I'm chasing some of the outer surrounds for the rear screen.

Yeah they are the outer surrounds for the rear windows.

I know it doesn't seem like much but test fitted the front end today and it's possibly the first time the front end has been completely assembled in a few years. Dropped the front bar, side skirts and front guards off to get painted today. It's a long slow journey but another step closer

Thanks mate, it's a mocal 13 row 115mm matrix cooler and that's a Aeroflow power steering bottle.

Looks like it was meant to be there.
I like that a lot.

Originally I had a different cooler behind the front grill and really wasn't happy with it. This is much neater I think aswell mate. Even helped the economy and brought the cooler from the uk

Body work on mine is almost done. Interior is next and then it will be engine and ancillaries to do :-)

Awesome can't wait to see yours all painted up, will be a great example when your done. Make sure you work backwards through my build, I keep changing my mind on shit lol

Front end all painted up and fitted. Brought new corner and side indicators aswell.

Progress update

Got the radiator fitted, changed all the oils and fluid, finished some wiring. So the car is legit ready for a tune now. Going to finally get the engineering certification done first, get a wheel alignment and then a book a tune. Hardest thing is getting time off work and organising stuff but its finally ready never the less

Get in mate looks good. Looks like it's been worth every min. More pictures when you get time
