oil change +filter
water / antifreeze top up
manifold gasket (if needed)
turbo gasket
5 bolt gasket
semi permanent heat Loctite
spare nuts n bolts (I build it up off the car and fit as one unit)
as sir dave says braided lines are a bonus
Turbo will have its own restrictor built in
spare oil drain pipe something that wont kink

Gonna do it when i fit my clutch .
It was more do i need to fit anything in the oil feed as i've heard people talk about restrictors

Car should be transformed with the new parts im fitting .

So come on whats peoples guesses as to what power she will make once all done?
made 330bhp @ 1bar on nearly standard turbo last summer at SRR

Think the only limiting factor will be my 560 evo injectors ( they are 560cc i think )

You should be able to push the injectors abit more should be good for up to around 400bhp on them ...

Injectors are maxd out at 426bhp according to the evo forum ..... so dont think they will hold you back to far ...think the tubby will run out before the injectors do ...

will make around 400hp with 2871 and 560 injectors should be fine, may be worth fitting a fpr so you can up the pressure a little if needed

not been a twat but whats 440 injectors rated to ? I don't think 560 will do it seen to many not do it. 660 yes 550cc 400 bhp if they do it the will be at max duty which creates heat in them

(not been funny in anyway just seen so many try and injectors max out so they buy 700cc) 400 bhp I am talking about because I wanted to do it so they had a good spray pattern and no dribble at low end)

370 to maybe 380 max on 560cc with safe duty cycle. upping fuel pressure a little with likes of sard FPR can get 400 & bit beyond without going silly on fuel pressure & works very well for those not wanting push power further. Do need super decent pump & wiring to be sure no issues running lean.
Lot of UK tuners not keen on upping FP but do it quite a bit here to keep duty sensible & injector size sensible.

I think the Banjo bolt at the engine end of the turbo oil supply pipe is a special with quite a small bore to restrict the flow..

How do you mean rob .... most turbo places say leave the oil drain pipe off the engine and crank it over allowing the turbo to be flushed out not huge amounts like half a pint then connect it and then fire it up let it run on idle till warms up ... then just check what boost its producing .... thats about it i suppose you could check the shaft for play so to speak ....not sure if thats what you meant mate ????

I heard all the people on your island had small ones just like the southern fairys on this forum lol. I personally thought they were inline on turbo rather than the banjo bolt ?

Normally is always the adaptor which could be banjo or threaded AN adaptor & hole restrictor bore would be around 0.8 to 0.9mm.
Kind of easy to see once have good look at oil feed, fittings often get lost or changed to suite what lines people using so best checked.

I see actually the Garrett figures on oil restrictor size is 1mm.
Feed pipe ideally -4AN & drain -10AN or at least larger than outlet bore of turbo .
All figures based on ball bearing turbo.

I think I currently have 0.8 restrictor on mine, if that sounds about right? but Id need to pull it off to confirm, not that it really helps this is what the garrett site says:

il pressure entering a ball-bearing turbocharger needs to be between 40 psi and 45 psi at the maximum engine operating speed. For many common passenger vehicle engines, this generally translates into a restrictor with a minimum of 0.040" diameter orifice upstream of the oil inlet on the turbocharger center section. Again, it is imperative that the restrictor be sized according to the oil pressure characteristics of the engine to which the turbo is attached.
