Well my bad luck strikes again lol
Seemed to have damaged my 4th gear at cadwell today but managed to get car home by quickly shifting through 4th.
Good job I got a spare box to go on her, think il have a go at fixing my own box as would cost a fortune to have it fixed by Nissan or litchfield. Looks damned complicated but reckon I'm capable of doing it if I put my mind to it.

Up toll then the track day was great
Me and Ben were both pissed out our swedes last night at the hotel, I ended up falling into a bush flat on my back, not been so plastered for ages now.
Took Gaz out in the car this morning and had to pit as thought I was gonna throw up. Started to feel a bit better later on so put the car through its paces, just started getting my confidence back with her and enjoying driving it on the limit when I hear nasty grating gear on 4th so my woes continue    but hey that's Motorsport I guess just think I'm jinxed, but no use crying about it just gonna have to get my hands dirty and fix her up ready for the Grand Prix circuit in Germany in about 3 weeks time.
Fair play to gaz he's hard to scare lol even when we were sideways on more than one occasion   hope you enjoyed the ride gaz

Big thanks to Ben for staying with me on the way back to make sure I got back ok   top bloke!
We both had a close tussle on track too in the afternoon which I'm sure Ben enjoyed as much as I did
Don't like the mpss tyres for track use though they get very squigey after about 4 laps, think the cars would be awesome with some r888s on there so I may invest in a set of s/h wheels with some proper track rubber

Tbh there's nothing really in it between us, were both competitive as hell and enjoy racing, if one was much faster than the other then it would be boring.

Think gaz has a little vid on his phone of a couple laps but that's when I heard my box making a nasty noise so backed off to pit

Yeah bummer about the box but ho hum as said me whining about it isn't gonna fix it. Just gotta knuckle down and learn myself a bit about these boxes or it could be bloody expensive if I've got to rely on places like litchfield ect

To be fair though the cars probably running close to 700lbft torque so fair bit more than a stock gtr same old same old more power creates more problems

I'm an expert at breaking Nissan boxes now though, god knows how many stock boxes I've broke, 2 quaifes 1 Becker dog box now my bloody pride and joys box is broke
Seriously do believe I've been hit with the shit stick with regard to race cars and breaking them, the under bonnet gremlins are having a right laugh at my expense lol

Been having a look at the r35 gearbox internals ....i dont envy you stripping one down ... it looks quite scary to be honest .... i did find this link not sure if its any help to you just various bits and bobs http://www.willallracing.com.au/transmission.htm
