Hey guys,
This question might seem odd but i just want to be sure, ive been building my Nissan Pulsar GTi-R now for a while and its ready soon.
But does all of the SR20DET parts fit the pulsars SR20DET aswell ?
Or do you know if there are any differences ?

For example im upgrading the injectors and starter so does any injector thats designed for SR20DET fit the pulsars engine aswell ? for example the side feed injecors ? or do they need to be top feed ?

Sorry for the confusing explanation but hope you understand it somehow.

best regards,
Stefan

hi Stefan and welcome to the forum

injectors are all top feed on pulsar sr20det

theres many differences with the non rnn14 engines

sump pan
crankshaft
bigend, mains bearing diameter
inlet side of head

the list goes on as that's just a few bits

Hello and thank you,

Im glad to finally find a place to get some support with the car, in finland i think there are under 5 registered at the moment.
So if i wanted to buy a new starter, ive been looking on one for the SR20DET, will it fit maybe ?

And if possible could you maybe assist in where to find injectors that fit if you know ? 555cc ~ is what i am looking for at the moment, when tuning it with megasquirt 2, and that is a pain Smile

And thanks again !

evo 550 or 560cc injectors are a direct replacement and can be bought on ebay ect
we have none in at the moment

not sure on the startermotor but I believe they are different as others are fwd where as the pulsar bolts through the transfer casing

if you need one drop me a pm as we have some in stock in vgc and not expensive

2871r is capable of 400bhp and stock 444cc injectors will not be enough as they will be well over there duty
560cc should just about get you there but you will need either an aftermarket maf or map sensor also as the stock maf will also be beyond its duty

Thank you for the link, helps a lot !

Yea i have a different MAP sensor set up, but i still need to get it positioned better though.
And piping is soon done for the front IC aswell so.

Thanks for your help guys, now my biggest problem is getting the idle setup somehow since i dont have a IAC connected at the moment, thats my struggle with MS2 tho.

Cheers !
