hi there, whats the best place to get the clutch ball pivot from? i took my gearbox off today and my thoughts were that the forks is bent but it turns out that the ball pivot was snapped. Ill ring nissan tomorrow morning as i want to get the car done soon but is there any other places where i can pick these up from? I want a new one but a very good used one would be good aswell in case somebody has some spares Smile

thanks!

Il do the pivot ball with guaranteed next day delivery for £20

delivery alone could be a tenner plus I've got to send the urchin up the post office and he could be stuck there for an hour as there's always a big queue

With a press ideally.... you can do it without i used a blow lamp to remove it from the wisbone once i removed it from the car .... then used a bottle jack made a little metal frame to pop the jack in the popped it in that way ...

They pop out easy & if have no press will come out with a lump hammer & large socket or tubing steel piece of suitable diameter as rest/support on the wishbone while tap it out.
Can be pressed in with a decent vice too but hydraulics are nicer :-)
All really needed is a little care to keep new boot free of incident & good support of wishbone as not to damage it.
Don't use super cheap ball joints as quality & fit is awful, ADL or Solid Ace or Delfi is my preference.
Nismo do a clutch Pivot Ball but not going be much use to you due to speed part required but link added just for future readers:
