Headlights not working side lights work the headlight flash works but my normal headlights not working both side what's wrong with the and what should I check

could well be the light stalk itself that's knackered

Check your headlight connections on the back of the bulb as well.

I've got hid's fitted all connections are fine just suprised both have gone out at the same time 
Bob any way of checking to make sure it's the stalk how hard is it to remove the stalk

If you have hid's check the connectors before the balast see if you have power before them ....

Sorted it the hid ballast were faulty cheap china stuff, bought a proper hid kit now all working fine
