Rev counter not working

Another issue is my Rev counter wont work. Not at all just stopped ages ago.

I have a phase 2 set of clocks (said to be working but not tested myself) swapped the board on the back over as my clocks are phase 1 to the phase 2 set of clocks but the counter still doesnt work. Have cleaned all connectors etc.

How does the RPM signal work? Is there anything else I need to check in the engine bay etc.

It may be that I have two faulty sets of clocks but want to check if I can diagnose it further.

Take a reading or pulse from the ecu. Think it's a grey wire. Cant quite remember tho lol

Which one is it Stu?

Number 47 was severed so I have repaired the wire and also 32 was unplugged (it has a push connector)

Sorted all my loom out but still no joy with the rev counter. Which one would it feed from? Could someone wrecking my loom by trying to pull the safc wiring out cause an issue with my ecu itself with 47 been severed thats power to the engine control module which couldnt have been good!
