Draining fuel tank , possible issues

Afternoon ,

I need to drain the fuel tank so I can measure fuel going in as mixed with meth.

My question is :
I have a Bosch 044 underneath with dash something fittings which I can undo before the bosch and drain fuel into a container , if I run the pumps will the Bosch fill the System with air ?
And if so will it cause any issues ?

no will be fine tim, when you connect it all back up it will self bleed to the pressure from your fpr so you cant air lock the system
