I have a shift light and it needs a signal either the neg of the coil or the tacho signal off the ECU ( which is pin 2, I belive) I am not sure which colour is the neg on the coil ? But what is the best source for the signal?
Kind regards
Phil

I took mine off the back of the clocks loom, its the same wire you use for the mph convertor. I can't remember the wire colour but will look tomorrow.
I would of though either way you wired it in wouldn't matter?

All working like a dream, I tapped in just after the ECU the cables were twisted when they fitted the ECU so I turned it around to get more lose wire and joined on about 25mm back.
Thanks again for all the help and advice.
