haha he called everyone else losers for whining not you bogdan Laughing

im not whining either as I never pay the fees they are just passed on to people who buy the stuff Robbie.
if there paying say 2k for an engine then 4% is an extra 80 squid to the paypal robbers which would cover there pallet delivery so far better off keeping the 80 or whatever in their pockets as beer tokens or whatever and paying by card if its something that cost a few squid

anyways just fired the extra over as a gift bogdan so you can chill out a bit now Laughing

Acid dipped and full penetration welded!

Ahhhhhhh guys...I forgot to say....all my products will come with lifetime warranty!

And...........also all my products are stainless steel tubing with thick wall to ensure strength on the entire product.

I am not using stainless steel flanges because of the heat input during the welding process....in a singles sentence the stainless steel is warping 4 times faster the carbon steel....and this is the reason why I use mild steel flanges.

yes nice work bogdan

looking at the photo these have got the 12mm thread for standard lambda fitment I assume?
hard to say but they look bigger!
if not can the 3 which im having have this fitting please as wideband fitment would be of no use that close to turbo, thanks

Bob......when I made them I have unscrewd the original bung .....that 22 mm rusty bolt which is threaded on the inside for the original probe fitment. Hope that this makes sense:))))))

Anyway I will take a photo tommorrow to make some in what I am saying Smile))))

Okay, let me get something right.
The standard turbo elbow looks as such..

RO_SUNNY's fabrication, elbows, manifolds group buy - Page 8 IMG_0694

So the sensor should go into that hole shown, is the sensor screw the same size on your elbow Ro?
The original looks like a threaded hole and yours is not. Is that right?

Also do i need to measure the nut size on my sensor? Looks like mine is a 16 mm spanner size Sad, this sensor will go into the elbow right if 12mm?
The Oem one is 12mm.
Just would like to see a picture of the Oem sensor going into your elbow. Thanks

P.s, this 3' elbow sensor hole looks smaller than your one?

They look awesome bogdan ..... to get the full penetration do you purge the pipe prior to welding ?

Are they not a threaded bolt wit a hole in andy ?

pfffffffffffff......will take some photos this evening...so that everything is in order!

RO_SUNNY

To make sense in what I am saying...
This rusty bolt which has a thread on the inside for the original lambda probe......will screw directly on the bung that is welded on my elbow.
What Stu did on that one is make a small bung in which the lambda probe will screw directly to the elbow itself

Hi Ro, thanks, have money ready for this. Just need to confirm if the standard Oem nut will go into your bung.
Is it a screw in, meaning your bung has a thread or push in with snug fit?

I took a picture of mine today to show you how I removed the nut in question that needs to fit on your bung.

Just show a picture of this nut on your bung.

Cheers

Hi Bogdan,

Sorry for my slow reply; moving house is nearly a full-time job Shocked

Anyway, when I went to the bank, there were 2 options available:

Urgent payment = £18 fee and guaranteed to be in your bank account the same day, or
Non-urgent payment = FREE but with the money taking up to 4 days to reach you.

The "non-urgent" payment was free because your account is actually in GBP, so no currency conversions or "foreign" currency fees to worry about. I selected the non-urgent method, so it cost me £280 in total, and hopefully all £280 reached your bank account????

Many thanks yet again for helping with my bung needs Very Happy
Cheers,
Dave

hi bogdan
when you do my 3 can you not just use the correct threaded boss for the oem 12mm sensor to screw straight in to elbow so don't have to remove an ugly looking rusty bung from a stock elbow?

I have no idea why Nissan would have done this? Why would they not just make a bung that fits the lambda probe directly? Seems a bit ridiculous to make a bung for a bung for the lambda sensor LOL Suspect Perhaps unscrewing the lambda sensor via the larger bung puts less force through the sensor itself, but it still seems a bit weird……..

Cheers,
Dave

Hah, had to use wd40 to remove and go to a local garage as I didn't have the tools.
He used a vice and a 32mm or 36mm spanner/ wrench..lol
Took him 1min to remove though, and didn't charge me..

RO_SUNNY

RO_SUNNY

aaaaaarghhhhhhhhhh you guys.......
For each elbow I will make this threaded bungs....brand new and exactly the same as this one.
RO_SUNNY's fabrication, elbows, manifolds group buy - Page 8 20131108_0933551_zpsdbd99201
RO_SUNNY's fabrication, elbows, manifolds group buy - Page 8 20131108_0933361_zpsc37cc900

And this will screw to the bung that is on my elbows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So bob...don't worry everything will be brand new......and plug and play...no need to unscrew nothing rusty from an old rusty piece!

Andy....the bung will be exactly like the one pictured above....only it will be brand new!

So....you see guys...this is why I was asking for a bank transfer.....because now for every single penny that I am withdrawing to my card paypal charges 2 pounds.
2 Pounds x 11 elbows = 22 pounds:(
And I don't want to start that I have the full amount that Boby pay'd for 3 elbows and another 60 pounds sent from John Lawson which will stay up to 21 days pending.
Taking into consideration that Bob sent me the money on the 1'st of November the money might stay pending until 21'st of November......is that convenient isn't it?

knights of nee

The money thing is a bit of a pain but paying out big bank transfer fee's isn't an option so paypal was the best solution, I've got no problem paying the extra £2 mate I doubt anybody on here does really.

So next time you do something like this hopefully paypal will be sorted for you by then, It only takes 7 days for me to get money which is still a pain but liveable.

Next time now you'll know the score you can factor in all the costs and get deposits up front and cleared before you start a job, That way everybody will know the score and be happier, Especially you lol.

would it not be cheaper and easier just to weld in the correct sized boss for the lambda?
surely that would be the best solution but you do it whatever way you see best

Ro, why make new ones. I can just use my one really.
Just wanted to see the oem nut you posted screwed onto your 3' elbow. Simple. No issue.Neutral

RO_SUNNY

RO_SUNNY

It's allready don Bob.....so...no hassle for me.
Maybe in the future someone will want to use that bung for an egt probe...or something else.
As with that bung that looks exactly like the OEM one I will also provide a plug.....if someone would like to remove the narrow band and install a wide band on another part of the exhaust (like I did).

I don't need no extra money from you guys!.......I am just saying that paypal is a big pain.

I said 140 GBP shipped than that's the price and so be it....it's nobody's fault!

Cheers and thanks for the input!
