Hesitation and knocking from brakes

seems the pressure pipe from the fuel pump is leaking and corroded, basically my fix didnt work for very long so fuel tank getting dropped and pipes fixed

well the garage discovered it when they were fitting the fuel pump so just told him to sort it and get it running properly, only an extra 100 on top of the bill to sort it

garage found lots of boost leaks from the intercooler pipes and metal particles too so think this gonna sting a little lol

Still, hopefully found before any damage done.

yeah hope so, whats the reppecusions of boost leaks? and the particles could it be from the intercooler or the compressor?

and where exactly is the restrictor for the 1 bar loop?

The restrictor is normally in the rubber pipe between inlet manifold and the metal pipe attached to the top mount. Think it has a green band on the rubber pipe.

what if theres a fmic should it still be in the same place, my car was making a solid 1.1bar of boost when i done the loop without the walbro so does that sound right? sorry for all the questions im usually a computer geek

Same bit of pipe mate ......why is it not making boost or holding ....or do you not know as it was leaking ?.

guy done a smoke test or boost leak test and found a few leaks from intercooler pipes and a small leak from dump valve, he asked if the loop should make a bar of boost but he aint road tested it yet
