what about motorworx in marlow where carl used to work? thats a dyno dynamics rolling road, you must remember it bob?

yeah could be a major prob with the parking for so many cars though aron from memory its very small

its on a big industrial estate. is this on a weekend? as ive been there before on a saturday and there was loads of room to park but we can always ask

Perfect touch has a big car park for more than 20 cars, and loads of parking outside.

All motor n/a sr20ve engine. Trying to get it turbo charged before the rr day..

Just an idea, why cant we book SRR before he closes, say the last week in March if everyone is up for that?   It was going to be the first week in April anyway.....

It was put back becuase some cars will not be ready kerime ....

I phoned him and hes not taking any bookings at all until he knows whats happening with his unit, its good of him really as he doesn't want to let any mass booking down.
he would take bookings for the odd dyno run with an individual but not on the scale of cars we will be aiming to book for the day.
hopefully back end of next week he may be clearer on whats happening and whether lease can be sorted or he has to move out

There is a really good place marlin motor engineers in milton keynes just off j14 m1, i usually use him for power runs and fueling check been there quite few times good place just to throw another option in the mix

anyway ive left him with a voicemail so hopefully he will come back to me soon and we can see if the 5th is still ok or if it means moving the date or possibly the venue

if it stays the 5th April i now cant attend which im gutted about !
very close friends stag do has just been arranged for that weekend - bollox !
was looking forward to running the R with the new elbow on - asuming i fitted it in time !

just got back to me today and hes still not sure but at least hes being honest as he could take the booking then we turn up and no one there

seeing as its getting a bit fine with the dates and so forth il look at booking a different venue I think, that way at least we know whats what then
il make some enquiries over next 2 days then will update the venue

ok people still heard nothing back from Charlie at srr so ive been making a few other enquiries and ive (after many phone calls) found a place with dyno dynamics rollers which is as previously mentioned marlin motorsports (enigma racing) in Milton Keynes which isn't too far to travel for us southerners.

they offer free tea and snacks and looks like a good setup but the only date they have left is SATURDAY 19TH APRIL so ive provisionally booked the date as having problems with others with either dates or wont do group dyno shoot outs.
price per car is £40 less the 10% discount that the club is offering as a subsidy

if its milton keynes then thats pretty close to me so would suit me better if the northerners is further away
