Right boys am just wanting to know how easy it is to put Evo 4 callipers on the R am on 17" alloys so that's not a problem but is there anything I should know?

I've been given them from a mate of mine as he now has brembos on his c2 and he wants me to sort some wiring out for him.

So other than Clio discs what else do I need??

from memory dave I think there a straight fit
think the only thing you have to do is put 4 spacing washers behind the disc so it brings it out a tad further.
was a couple years ago I did one so cant remember but think that was all that was needed

Don't make me use your full name gaz! You need to change your pads an bleed the system then that should see your nissan right ( or you could tie wrap a block to the sole of your shoe that should make the pedal go further down when pressed )

Cheers bob if am right you have to drill a disc out slightly to fit the on the R Clio 172 disc I think?

Fuck the red stuff off mate there more for track days buy the yellow stuff pads they will warm up faster and respond better for what you need and they should be good for a track day aswell

Red stuff pads are more for hard core track days when you can get plenty of heat in to them an are rated for around 350 bhp+

Yellow stuff pads would be the best for you rated from 300bhp+ less heat is needed for them and should be perfect for what you need them for plus they will be perfect for a track day.

Or carbotech never forget carbotech they were ace on my red R screeched like a bitch until they are warm but they work a treat

sorry dave but your wrong me little northern monkey lol
yellows are more hardcore than reds nd take longer to get heat into

save up for the carbotechs gaz, they are outstanding against any other pad ive used.........fookin dear though but they last a lot longer and aren't disc killers either

Yeh heard about carbotech so prob will save for some ready for next year. as car will be in garage shortly ready for winter Sad

Also what about FERODO pads? as I live down the road from ferodo & know people that work there so may be able to get them cheap? I have heard there is a good pad ferodo make but cant think of the pad code?

i think the evo 4 twinpots are the same as the fto calipers and you will need to bore the holes in your hub bigger to fit the calipers, i think its 13mm but not quite sure and as mentioned clio discs and 4mm spacers.

i couldnt find carbotech pads for my calipers so was looking at the ds2500 which get decent reviews and cheaper

Thanks mate for the link should be a cheap way of hopefully getting something that will stop the car and less brake fade change of fluid an maybe some sneaky braided hoses should do it. Am going to have to look in the garage to see if I still have them Smile
