My Grey Gti-R

Hi all,

Today I made a trip down to Southend to pick up a grey R. I have previously owned a grey, and ever since selling it, I have always wanted another one. After selling my black R back to its previous owner (my best friend Russ) I spotted this one for sale, and today I picked it up.

I drove it back to Leicestershire, and it drove very well. It is currently running around 1.4 bar of boost, with printouts of 360bhp.

My plans are:

Remove and respray the rocker cover in the original cherry red colour.

Modify the intercooler pipe work as it is laid out a bit strange at the moment.

Repair/replace the rear bumper where the exhaust used to be located, as it is currently running a side exit exhaust.

Buy and fit some mud flaps

Get the roof re-sprayed as the lacquer has started to come off in places

I am also thinking of re-locating the battery to the boot.

Once I have had the engine checked over properly, I will get it booked into a garage for mapping and see how it is running.

Thanks TurboTom!! I'm really pleased with it! It's funny you should say that, as the first thing I did to the car today was take that stupid gtr badge off. I have a p badge ready to replace it LOL!

and the gtr badge was only on because the only grill bob had, had a hole in the middle, which was covered by the gtr badge.

Fair enough! Well I have a good condition black grille if you want it, don't want anything for it just cover postage.
What wheels are they by the way?

Should look pretty good with a repainted rocker cover & that intercooler piping done custom & right - as bit heath robinson as is .
P badge is a must. GTR badges on Pulsars is worse than a BMW badge & should be made an MOT failure or traffic offence or both lol :-D

Beau - thanks for the info on the alloys, as was going to try to find out what make they were! Don't worry, I will be looking after it that's for sure!! :-)

TurboTom - I already have a spare grille for it, so won't be needing yours, but thanks for the offer anyway, much appreciated!! I have just looked at your thread, your car looks really good mate!!

Mr B - I totally agree about the badge LOL. Intercooler pipe work will be getting looked at this week!!
